A Work of Heart Preparation

“Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “ ‘Come out of her, my people,’ so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;”

Revelation 18:4 NIV

There is a special power and grace which attends the final cry of mercy. If we are to share it we must first allow it to accomplish a work in our own lives. We are more bound to this world than many of us are prepared to acknowledge. But this is no reason for despair, God knows how to deliver us and bind our hearts to infinitely better things.

Before the Angel with great power will illuminate the earth with his glory, a work of preparation must take place among God's people. The ground work God is now seeking to accomplish in our hearts may not be dramatic or showy, but without it the final message which is to be attended with unprecedented power can not go forth.

Miraculous signs and wonders will attend earth's closing scenes, but it all begins with a pre-awakening among those commissioned to accomplish this work. Shaking off sleepiness to open the word, setting aside the rat race to lay your burdens at his feet, maintaining the hedge of protection around your loved ones through intercession, this is path of those being prepared to reap the greatest harvest this world has ever seen.

Still Seeking His Face,

Pastor Andrew
